BatKid was not only able to save the day, but he showed us the meaning of overcoming adversity and never giving up on our dreams. The sheer amount of public support was inspiring. 7,000 people in total pitched in to make this little kid’s day, and it shows that despite all of humanity’s flaws, there’s still hope for us yet.
Make-a-Wish foundation and the city of San Fransisco came through in a big way for this little kid and his dream of being a superhero, and reminded all of us the impact we can make, if only in one kid’s life, when we put aside our differences and work together for something positive.
