Music, The Universal Language

“If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.”

Henry David Thoreau

All of us are moved in different ways. To some, nothing is more moving than a masterfully performed sympathy and to others a couple Marshall stacks and a guy screaming is there heaven. That’s not what is important. What’s important is that music allows us to share parts of our souls with others, in hopes that what we create will resonate with others.

We may speak different languages, but nothing  transcends our differences and is more universal than music. Here’s to letting to music be the bridge that connects us all.
